In Sunday Club we aim to share and develop the love of Jesus and to make it enjoyable and fun. We want the children to feel an important part of the church community. Each week we explore a different theme based on the programme of the main church with various activities which may involve:
- craft activities
- painting
- music
- games
- gardening
- drama
- cooking.
And we have suitable toys and books for the very young.
Sunday Club welcomes children from just born to year 6. We meet from 9.45am in our own room at Gorse Ride Junior School for three-quarters of an hour. The children re-join their parents/carers in church at the start of communion. The only exception is the first Sunday of the month when the children are welcomed to our Alive@11 family service.
In line with current regulations, all our leaders have been cleared by Oxford diocese to work with children.
