GOING GREEN - a JOURNEY 
The Mission and World Concern group coordinated a number of events and services in February and March 2007 to raise awareness of environmental issues. We explored what action we may be able to take as a church and as individuals. Since then we have completed an eco-audit of all areas of our church life and decided to work towards becoming an eco-congregation;
A GREEN team has been formed comprising 7 members of our congregation. They are co-ordinating the progression of sustainable and realistic actions towards applying for the eco-congregation award, concentrating on the 3 areas; spiritual, practical and community.
All suggestions are welcome as we continue on our journey, remembering it is a marathon and not a sprint.
