Greetings

Are you a rocket, a banger or a sparkler? Some of us are like rockets, powerful, full of light and colour. Others make a lot of noise and scare the living daylights out of anyone within earshot. Perhaps most of us are more like sparklers, our light brittle and short, going out when we're least prepared. If that's the case, take heart. We're in good company. Many of those whom today we call ‘saints' would have received scarcely a second glance during their life-time.

Alive@11

At Alive@11 on Sunday 2 November, we shall be discovering what makes saints special. You might be surprised. Bring your own halo. Spares will be provided for those without. Come early for refreshments and children's activities.

Remembrance Sunday

We shall be observing the traditional two minutes silence at 11am on 9 November during our service of Holy Communion. Crèche and Sunday Club will be meeting during the first part of the service.

Baptisms

Five baptisms this month. On 2 November Kayla-Lea Layton-Smith and Harry Leach and on 16 November Lilly Mae Eighteen and Jack and William Partridge. We look forward to welcoming them into the Christian family.
